Join the K12 Security Information eXchange (K12 SIX) and PC Matic for an informational webinar on strategies and tactics to improve the cybersecurity risk management posture of school systems.

While there are unique aspects to the work of defending K-12 school communities from cyber threats, similar challenges are faced by organizations in other fields. In this fireside chat between K12 SIX Director Doug Levin and CompTIA’s Senior Director of Cybersecurity Compliance Programs—and former K-12 Technology Director—Chris Johnson, this webinar will explore the similarities and differences in defending schools from cyber threats versus small and medium businesses. A special focus of the conversation will be on those controls that yield the biggest bang for the buck, especially for those working in organizations with limited capacity and resources.

Chris Johnson serves as Senior Director of Cybersecurity Compliance Programs for CompTIA and ex-officio chairperson of the CompTIA Security Community. In this role, he champions the abilities of MSPs looking to focus more on cybersecurity. Previously, he served as a K-12 Technology Director for the Mount Pleasant Community School District (IA) and as an MSP focused on helping small to mid-size businesses make the strategic IT decisions and technology implementations that improved their cybersecurity posture.
