IBM Offering $3 Million in Security Grants

2020 saw an 18% increase in publicly disclosed cybersecurity incidents in K-12 public schools over the previous year, according to “The State of K-12 Cybersecurity: 2020 Year in Review” report. To help schools with their cybersecurity preparedness, IBM is offering $3 million in security education grants that will help schools prepare for and respond to threats. U.S. K-12 school districts can apply for one of six $500,000 in-kind funded grants through March 21 via IBM.org
